100_9468Ron Shearer, Director of Missionary Partners invited M4K to go to South Africa in 1998 to see ‘first-hand’ Missions.  Since that first invitation MP has helped sponsor M4K’s Mission Trips and Projects in Nicaragua and Cambodia.

MP has helped in providing motors, panga boats, fuel and generators for pastors that are lacking the equipment for their ministry.

P3220056

Ministry4Kids traveled to the Southern Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua  for the first time in 2001 with Assemblies of God Missionary Troy Doudy.  It’s hard to believe that M4K has just completed 13 Missionary trips to Nicaragua.

Each trip Troy has scheduled a new location for training, equipping and serving Pastors and leaders in Christian Education.  Workshops have been designed so that leaders attending will leave with a year of Bible Studies that are produced by Life Publishers. Phil/4kids

Sandy Bay Project Needs

P3210036
100_0710During my last Mission’s Trip to Nicaragua, I had the privilege of spending a long weekend in the village of Sandy Bay with Missionary Troy Doudy.  The church needs lumber and concrete for expanding the building.

Pastor Adner and his wife have been in the village for three years.  He has a desire of going up the river to other villages along the river to establish more Miskito Village Churches. He has a motor for a boat, but no boat to take outreach teams up the river to evangelize the villages.

The panga boat is designed to haul heavy loads up and down the river.  Wood is used as the material to build panga boats.  The outboard motor usually used on a panga is of low horse-power to save fuel costs.

Mission Project: Miskito Bibles

100_0645In the village of Sandy Bay,  Nicaragua,  the people have no Bibles in their Miskito Language.  United Bible Society printed a Bible in their language in 1999, but they no longer have any Bibles in stock.  Contact has been made with UBS and they are considering reprinting the  Bibles in the Miskito Language.

The project is to find out the reprinting costs of 500 Bibles that could be purchased and then delivered to the people of Sandy Bay and to the other villages up the river.
